Reindeer Food Bags

Description

Children will be delighted with these fun Magical Reindeer Food Bags. Each bag is made out of tan felt with an embroidered appliqué on the front. Bags come with recipe for making your own reindeer food – it’s a fun annual tradition you can start with your kids. You will also receive a short poem that the whole family will enjoy to help you prepare for Santa’s visit.

Bags are reusable and can be used year after year, and your kids can even pass them down to their kids for years to come. Bags can be personalized if you would like to have one for each of your children and ensure there is no fighting over whose bag it is. Appliqué can be done in a variety of fabric options and colors or in marine vinyl depending on the look you prefer.

Each food bag measures approximately 7″ x 4.5″, and comes with jute string you can use to close the bag. I suggest that you use a plastic sandwich bag inside of your felt bag to keep it free of debris.

If you would like multiple bags for a classroom or holiday party, please complete the custom request form so that I can help you meet your needs. Bulk discounts may apply for orders of 10+ bags.

Do you love the cute reindeer face on the bag? I have a matching ornament available that can be personalized with a name or the year.

Recipe card will be included with your order, but I am sharing the recipe here as well.

Magical Reindeer Food Recipe

In a small zipper food storage bag or empty shaker container, mix:

  • 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup red or green sugar crystals (as used for cake decorating)
Many Internet recipes for Magical Reindeer Food call for craft glitter, which can be harmful to birds or wildlife when ingested. For safety, use colored sugar crystals as listed in recipe above, and be kind to animals!
