I love getting mail…not bills, but I love getting just about anything else in the mail. I especially love getting something as wonderful as The Dolly-Mamas Kuku Dolls Alley Cat! As a blogger I’m given many opportunities to receive products to review so that I can share my opinions with my readers. Well, let me tell you – I love this Alley Cat!

She is handmade out of knitted and felted wool. I believe she will be just adorable by my bedside lamp (or maybe we can hit the road together and have many photo opps ala Flat Stanley). Here’s what is so great about The Dolly-Mamas Kuku Dolls – besides being made from beautiful materials you have the option of making your own or purchasing a pre-made doll. If you are crafty like me you may want to buy the kit which comes with the pattern, wool yarn, fiberfill, binding yarn and wool roving. While I do find myself trying new crafting things all the time, I love the option to buy a sweet Kuku Doll that is already made with love.  P.S. Reba wanted Alley Cat as her own.

There are many dolls and critters to choose from.  Alley Cats, Lions, Bears and Elephants OH MY! Choose from brown kids, white kids, long haired or short haired, boys or girls, mermaids and military dolls. There is such a wide selection.

You can choose patterns around the $6.00 range, kits that include all the supplies you will need (except the time to sit down and do it so be sure your calendar is clear) around the $40.00 range and completed dolls around $60.00. I am giving a range as each one will be different.  The Dolly-Mamas is a social entrepreneurship and they donate a portion of all profits to child related causes. They are U.S. based – you can support a U.S. small business (which you know I truly believe in) and also help others through their contributions. It’s a WIN-WIN.

I can see these dolls and critters being wonderful gifts for your friends who are having babies – what a great collection to start for them. They are soft, can be cuddled, and are washable.

Win your own Dolly-Mamas Kuku Doll or Critter…you get to choose the one you love!
