The paint is on the wall!  You can read about the proposed transformation here. (Well…it has been for over a week, but I’ve been slow to post). I made a trip to CT to visit family and friends and came home the next day (after driving 2 days up and 2 days back) and painted. I LOVE the way it turned out.

The only thing it is currently missing is a new photo to the left of the metal dresses. A friend of mine took an amazing photo of a purple iris and it is on the way from Art.com – blown up, matted, and framed with the same matte and frame as the Eifel Tower photo on the right. I can’t wait to see the final (final) product once the photo is hung. Here is a mock-up of what it’s supposed to look like when it arrives in the mail.

I will update the post when the photo is received and hung on the wall. Just a side note…my friend and I had some fun trying to hang my other pictures and items. We used several tools and stood back to ensure everything was straight many, many times. Hanging the new photo will likely be just as challenging as we try to make it line up perfectly with everything else.

I rearranged the prints I originally had hanging on the right of the dresses and I think they look better on the side wall now. I believe my room is finally coming together!

These adorable prints are from an amazing Etsy site – Flapperdoodle. You can follow her blog here. She has the most adorable prints and necklace charms!
