All of the contributors for The 20 Project have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on our stories of advice for 20 somethings, which includes some of  the best advice we received in our life.

Although writing it all on paper is a hard feat, the hardest part is what we are working on NOW – fundraising to complete the editing, publishing, marketing and everything else that goes into getting this book on bookshelves around the world!  We seriously need your help!  We have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to help us reach our goal of seeing this to the finish line..and the campaign end date is just around the corner!

This is an e-mail that was drafted for each of the contributors to share with friends and family…(and I want to share it with all of you)!

Dear Friends,

Do you remember what it was like when you were 20?   It is a time of great change in your life, a time of confusing messages, a lot of pressure to make decisions and be successful.

  • The20Project is about sharing stories so that others may learn from our mistakes, struggles and triumphs.
  • The20Project is about building community so that maybe someone doesn’t feel so alone.
  • The20Project is about supporting those who are unable to support themselves.

You are receiving this email because you know someone who is a contributor to The20Project.  This contributor has put hours, days and maybe weeks of effort building something that is worthy of sharing with the world and we need your help!

We have written a book, but this is not the end of our journey.  In order to get the book from a document on a computer into the hands of 20 year olds, it is going to take significant funding to help pay for the professional editing, publishing and printing costs to get this book out into the world.

We are asking for your help in the form of a Kickstarter donation.  We think this project is worth your time and we hope that you think so too.

We are not about sending a ton of email, so this email and a book launch email is all you will receive.

Thank you for your time and we hope that you will join us on our incredible journey.
